  • It was a hypothetical situation I was alluding to. My understanding is that she is to serve probation for the check writing. Giving her dual credits for the time she spent in custody awaiting trial makes sense. Why spend additional taxpayer dollars to supervise her?

  • What about people who are incarcerated and no charges are filed or proven? With backlogs in courts it can take months to get to trial. When released as not guilty, then to commence a probation term anew seems excessive. She should get the credit and be done with this.
